Dear Mr. Brière:
Re: Broadcasting application 2011-1650-0
This is in reference to the application by RNC MEDIA Inc. (RNC) to amend the licence of radio programming undertaking CKLX-FM Montréal, which was published as a Part 1 application on 13 January 2012.
Commission staff would like to inform you that the analysis of RNC’s application has been suspended given the interventions received relating to the application and the possible impact of the amendment on incumbent stations in the Montréal market.
In addition, Commission staff informs you that RNC’s application will be scheduled at an upcoming hearing. Please note that the Part 1 public process which included RNC’s application is closed. The interventions and responses received relating to the application during the Part 1 process will be added to the public hearing file.
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
Yours sincerely,
Joelle Paré
