Radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving St-Pamphile, Quebec – Revocation of licence
1. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has requested the revocation of its broadcasting licence for its radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving St-Pamphile, Quebec. The licensee stated that this revocation is linked to the cessation of operation of its analog transmitter as of 31 October 2012.
2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(2) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes, effective 1 November 2012, the broadcasting licence issued to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for the above-mentioned undertaking.
