Dear Sir:
RE: Proposed Closure of Aliant Telecom Tariff Notice 100
The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom, under cover of Tariff Notice 100, in which it proposed changes to its General Tariff item 622 - Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Service.
By letter dated 22 June 2007, this application was deferred pending the outcome of the proceeding initiated by Review of certain Phase II costing issues, Telecom Public Notice 2007-4, 30 March 2007. No determinations were issued regarding Tariff Notice 100 (i.e. it does not have interim status).
In Telecom Order 2011-332, dated 18 May 2011, the Commission approved on a final basis an application by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, under cover of Tariff Notice 399, in which it proposed to withdraw item 622.
Given that Tariff Notice 100 proposed changes to General Tariff item 622, which has since been withdrawn, Commission staff considers that no further action or Order will be required or forthcoming. Accordingly, the associated file is considered to be closed.
Yours sincerely,
