Re: Tariff Notice no. 4
Dear Sir:
On 19 October 2011, Câblevision du Nord de Québec inc. (CVQ) submitted for Commission approval pages of its General Tariff concerning the provision of third-party Internet access (TPIA) services.
CVQ proposed to base its tariffs on Videotron's TPIA (Tariff CRTC 26950, Part B, section 200.4, page 35).
However, on 15 November 2011, CRTC issued Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2011-703 regarding billing practices for wholesale residential high-speed access services. In that new regulatory policy, the Commission approved a new tariff structure, different from the one currently in place.
Commission staff therefore suggests to CVQ that it re-submit its Tariff Notice no. 4, based on Videotron's new tariff structure.
Yours sincerely,
