Re: Support Structure License Agreement

Dear Mr. Allard:

The Commission received an application from CoopTel dated 31 August 2011, and amended on 18 October 2011, under cover of Tariff Notices (TN) 70 and 70/A, in which the company proposed adding section 5.3 – Support Structure Service, to its General Tariff.

On 1 November 2011, CoopTel filed, under TN 70 and 70/A, its support structure agreement (SSA).

The Commission staff notes that under Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-455, issued on 5 July 2010, entitled Approval processes for tariff applications and intercarrier agreements, interested parties may file interventions within 25 calendar days of the filing date of an agreement such as that filed by CoopTel, and the applicant may file reply comments within seven calendar days of the deadline for filing interventions.

Accordingly, interested parties have until 28 November 2011 to file interventions regarding CoopTel’s proposed SSA. CoopTel has until 5 December 2011 to file reply comments.

The Commission intends make a determination regarding the SSA and the proposed tariff amendments at the same time.

Sincerely,
