RE: Tariff Notice 416 – Business Services

Dear Sir:

On 18 October 2011, the Commission received an application by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant) under cover of Tariff Notice (TN) 416, in which the company proposed modifications to various items of its General Tariffs 10001, 11001, 12001, 13001, and 21491. Specifically, the company proposed modifications to reflect the Commission’s determinations in Telecom Decisions 2011-632 and 2011-633 relating to the forbearance of business local exchange services. The company indicated that its application was filed as a Group A tariff filing.

Commission staff notes that the company’s TN 416 meets the definition of a Group A tariff filing. Consequently, proposed tariff pages will become effective on 29 September 2011, as specified by the company in its application.

However, Commission staff noted a few errors in the proposed tariff pages relating to the numbering of the following tariff items in the company’s General Tariff 10001:

___________________________

1Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership – Application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services, Telecom Decision CRTC 2011-632, 29 September 2011.

2Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership – Application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services, Telecom Decision CRTC 2011-633, 29 September 2011.

Bell Aliant is therefore requested to address the above-noted errors in a new Group A tariff filing.

Yours sincerely,

‘Original signed by S. Bédard’
