Re: Tariff Notice 435 – Business primary exchange service

Dear Sir:

The Commission received an application by Télébec, Limited Partnership (Télébec), dated 6 October 2011, under cover of Tariff Notice (TN) 435, in which the company proposed amendments to its General Tariff to reflect its forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services in the exchange of St-Ours. Télébec identified its application as a Group A tariff filing.

Commission staff notes that TN 435 corresponds to the definition of a Group A retail tariff filing. Accordingly, the proposed tariff pages came into force effective 28 September 2011 as proposed.

However, Commission staff noted a few irregularities in the proposed tariff pages with respect to the references to the various notes. For example, the rates schedule on page 171 refers to Note 3, while the rate tables on pages 172 and 173 refer to Note 4. Previously, those pages referred to the same note.

Commission staff therefore requests that Télébec review the references to the notes on tariff pages 171, 172 and 173 of section 2.1 of its General Tariff and correct all irregularities as soon as possible. Télébec is invited to contact Commission staff for further details on these irregularities as needed.

Yours sincerely,
