Re: Applications to review and vary Telecom Decision CRTC 2011 -360 submitted by Globalive Wireless Management Corp. and by The Public Interest Advocacy Centre
Dear Madam, Sir:
On 30 August 2011, Globalive Wireless Management Corp. and The Public Interest Advocacy Centre filed, separately, Part I applications (the applications) requesting that the Commission review and vary Telecom Decision CRTC 2011 -360 (TD 2011-360) Globalive Wireless Management Corp., operating as WIND Mobile – Part VII application regarding roaming on Rogers Communications Partnership’s wireless network.
Commission staff is of the view that the issues raised in the applications are similar and that it would be appropriate to consider both applications within a single proceeding. Commission staff notes that Section 10(b) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure specifically provides for the combination of 2 or more proceedings.
Parties should therefore combine their comments to the two applications. Parties may file comments with the Commission with respect to the applications by 29 September 2011. The applicants may file reply comments by 11 October 2011. All comments and reply comments should be submitted under both of the file references listed above.
Yours sincerely,
