RE: Tariff Notice 252 – Digital Video Services Delivery
Dear Sir
On 18 July 2011, the Commission received the above-mentioned tariff notice submitted by Telecommunications (SaskTel) in which the company proposed the introduction of Special Facilities Tariff item 1000.06 – Digital Video Services Delivery.
Section 28(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure provides that the Commission may request parties to file information, particulars or documents where needed.
The company is requested to provide comprehensive answers, including rationale and any supporting information, to the attached questions within 5 business days of the date of this letter. Consequently, this application along with any associated subsequent revisions will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day of their receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with all associated subsequent revisions, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.

SaskTel Tariff Notice 252 – Request for information
In its application, SaskTel provided a price floor test for its proposed Digital Video Services Delivery service.
Commission staff notes, however, that SaskTel provided the summary of revenues and costs but did not provide a complete Phase II costing study, including detailed costing information relating to the Phase II costs for the service.SaskTel is to provide the missing information including the detailed costing information relating to the Phase II costs for its proposed Digital Video Services Delivery service.
