RE: Tariff Notice 9 – Revision to the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) Access Services Tariff
Dear Mr. Matoga,
On 28 February 2009, the Commission received an application by ISP Telecom Inc. (ISP Telecom), under cover of Tariff Notice (TN) 9 in which the company proposed modifications to its CLEC Access ServicesTariff. Specifically, the company proposed to: (i) remove rates for interconnection services in British Columbia, and (ii) add rates for interconnection services applicable in the incumbent operating territory of TBayTel.
By letter dated 24 March 2009, Commission staff noted that these changes did not appear to be consistent with previous information provided by the company with respect to its serving areas and that the application did not provide an explanation as to why these changes were appropriate. Subsequently, discussions and correspondence between Commission staff and ISP Telecom occurred to address this issue, as well as a requirement for ISP Telecom to update its tariff to reflect the latest version of the Commission’s CLEC Model Access Services Tariff.
On 6 July 2011, the Commission received application by ISP Telecom, under cover of TN 10, in which the company proposed modifications to its CLEC Access Services Tariff to address Commission staff concerns about TN 9 and to reflect version 31 of the CLEC Access Services Model Tariff. Additionally, the Commission received a letter on 7 July 2011 from ISP Telecom advising the company intends to file additional tariff notice applications as needed to bring its tariff up to date with the latest version of the Commission’s CLEC Model Access Services Tariff.
In light of the above, the file for TN 9 is closed.
Yours sincerely,
