Re: Tariff Notice 558 – TELUS SmartTouch services

Ms. Duguay:

On 1 November 2010, the Commission received an application from the TELUS Communications Company (TCC) under cover of Tariff Notice 558 in which the company proposed an amendment to its General Tariff as an incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC) in Quebec. Specifically, TCC proposed to modify Section 2.20 – TELUS Québec's SmartTouch Services in order to introduce a Call Transfer service. The company identified its application as a Group B retail filing.

Commission staff notes that TCC has filed notice that it will be amending its application. Consequently, this application, along with all associated subsequent amendments, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day of their receipt. However, the Commission intends to dispose of this application, along with any subsequent amendments associated with it, within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.

Yours sincerely,.
