Re: Tariff Notice 553A – Revisions
In a letter dated 9 February 2011, Commission staff requested that TELUS Communications Inc. in the operating territory of Quebec (Telus(Quebec)), file revised Tables 1 to 5 of Appendix 1 to Telus(Quebec)’s cost study to reflect the changes in the mark-up and rate for its wholesale 5 Mbps service.
On 14 February 2011, the Commission received revised cost studies in support of the revised rates proposed in TN553A with no supporting letter. Commission staff notes that the revised cost studies included significant revisions to the proposed costs for all service speeds. Commission staff requests that Telus(Quebec) provide detailed explanations for the changes to the cost estimates for each service speed, including changes to the costing methodologies and assumptions, if any.
This response should be filed with the Commission and served on all parties by 23 February 2011.
