RE: Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 339 and Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7283
On 1 November 2010, the Commission received applications by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada (collectively, the companies) under Tariff Notices 339 and 7283, respectively. In their applications, the companies proposed changes to their Access Services Tariffs to introduce item 150 – Broadband Expansion Service (BES).
On 2 December 2010, the Commission received comments by MTS Allstream Inc. on the companies’ applications. On 13 December 2010, the Commission received the companies’ reply comments.
In light of the comments and reply comments received, the Commission was unable to dispose of the companies’ applications within 45 business days of their receipt. The Commission expects to issue its decision by the end of March 2011.
Yours sincerely,
