Dear Mr. McKeown:

We are in receipt of a procedural request from the CNIB dated November 28, 2011, asking to amend its submission filed on October 24, 2011 in the proceeding initiated by Notice of Consultation CRTC 2011-523-1: ‘’[w]e no longer wish to recommend one particular organization to independently house the Broadcasting Accessibility Fund’’.

Given the requested change to amend the submission was submitted after the close of record in the proceeding and failed to provide reasons, Commission staff does not agree to your request. Should the CNIB wish to withdraw its entire intervention, it should make a procedural request to do so.

Regards,
