The following is in response to your letter dated 12 October 2011 in which you ask the Commission to appear as an intervener as part of the 17 October 2011 hearing in Montréal.
As you will recall the submission date for interventions for this hearing was 22 September 2011, as stated in Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2011-571. However, you have omitted to file a written intervention within the deadlines clearly established by the Commission. After having examined your request attentively, the Panel has decided to deny your request to ensure procedural fairness.
