Dear Ms. Kirshenblatt:
Re: 2011-1349-8: Application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to amend the technical parameters of the digital television station CKSH-DT in Shebrooke, Quebec.
On 3 October 2011, the Corporation submitted an application requesting a technical amendment for its French-language television station CKSH-DT in Sherbrooke, Quebec. In light of the reception issues preventing Canadians from accessing the Corporation’s over-the-air digital television signal, the Commission varies the process and abbreviates the timelines with respect to the above noted application.
Accordingly, the timelines for the process are as follows:
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Amendment of a transmitter
6 October 2011
Intervention period – 14 October 2011
Reply period – 17 October 2011
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
