Dear Ms. Kirshenblatt:
Re: 2011-1283-8: Application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation to amend the technical parameters of the digital television station CBVT-DT in Quebec, Quebec.
On 15 September 2011, the Corporation submitted an application requesting a technical amendment for its English-language television station CBVT-DT in Quebec City, Quebec. In light of the reception issues preventing Canadians from accessing the Corporation’s over-the-air digital television signal, the Commission varies the process and abbreviates the timelines with respect to the above noted application.
Accordingly, the timelines for the process are as follows:
Notice Number | Subject | Posted Date | Deadlines |
Part 1 | Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Amendment of a transmitter
Quebec, Quebec
CBVT-DT
2011-1238-8 | 21 September 2011 | Intervention period 5 October 2011
Reply period 7 October 2011 |
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
Yours sincerely,
