Dear Mr. McGaw:
Re: Application for a frequency change
This is in reference to your application to change the frequency of the Low-Power FM English-language tourist information service CIIO-FM Ottawa, Ontario.
Section 22(2) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure (the Rules of Procedure) requires applicants to file their applications using the appropriate application form listed in Obligation relating to the electronic filing of applications and the use of Commission forms, Broadcasting and Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-453, 5 July 2010, as amended from time to time, when one is available. The use of a Commission application form ensures that applicants provide all relevant information that the Commission generally needs to assess the application. Section 8 of the Rules of Procedure allows the Commission to close a file that does not comply with this requirement.
Consequently, the Commission has determined that your application is incomplete and will therefore not proceed with your application as filed. Note that this application is now considered closed. Please be advised that all applications submitted to the Commission must be duly completed and sent via Access Key at the following link:http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/INFO_SHT/g100.htm
In the event you should decide to re-submit your application, please ensure that all of the relevant information is included in your submission.
Yours sincerely,
Éric PaulhusBroadcasting Process & External Liaison
