Subject: Commission response to BCE letter dated 27 May 2011
Hi Bill,
Further to our conversation yesterday, I called you earlier this morning and left a message that we would be emailing, today, the “errant letter” from the Commission concerning the establishment of the Canadian Broadcasting Participation Fund and that of the Canadian Accessibility Fund, pursuant to CRTC Decision 2011-163.
Having said that, you will notice that the letter dated 9 June 2011 had directed BCE to submit its filing to the Commission by 24 June 2011.
This email will confirm that, in view of our oversight, we are requesting that the filing be sent to the Commission no later than 8 July 2011.
Thank you for your understanding and, if you can brief Mirko Bibic of Bell Canada as to the status of this file, that would be appreciated as I did undertake to get back to him on the matter by no later than today.
