CFDY-FM Cochrane – New transmitter in Smooth Rock Falls – Correction
1. In CFDY-FM Cochrane – New transmitter in Smooth Rock Falls, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2011-700, 10 November 2011 (Broadcasting Decision 2011-700), the Commission erroneously referred to CFDY-FM Cochrane as a commercial radio programming undertaking. The Commission notes that CFDY-FM is in fact a community radio programming undertaking.
2. Accordingly, the Commission hereby corrects Broadcasting Decision 2011-700 by replacing paragraph 1 of that decision with the following:
1. The Commission approves the application by Cochrane Polar Bear Radio Club (Cochrane) to amend the broadcasting licence for the English-language community radio programming undertaking CFDY-FM Cochrane, Ontario, by adding an FM transmitter in Smooth Rock Falls. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection to this application.
