Amendment to item 1
Further to Broadcasting Notices of Consultation 2011-412 and 2011-412-1, the Commission announces that the applicant has withdrawn its request to add an FM transmitter in Amqui, Quebec. Accordingly, the following paragraphs are removed from the application:
The applicant proposes to add an FM transmitter at Amqui to broadcast the programming of CFYX-FM Rimouski.
The transmitter would operate on frequency 92.7 MHz (channel 224A) with an average effective radiated power (ERP) of 280 watts (maximum ERP of 900 watts with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 202.6 metres).
