Direct-to-home satellite distribution policy – Distribution of local conventional television stations and simultaneous substitution – Correction
1. In the last bullet of paragraph 4 of Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2011-295, the Commission summarized the requirements for carriage of small-market independent stations by direct-to-home satellite distributors as requiring the distribution of:
two television stations from each of the other Canadian broadcasting ownership groups.
2. For greater clarity, the Commission replaces the above with the following:
independent television stations consistent with Broadcasting Regulatory Policy 2010-162.
