Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2011-188, the Commission announces the following:

Demande 2011-0127-9

Demande présentée par RNC MÉDIA inc. (RNC MÉDIA) en vue de renouveler la licence de radiodiffusion de l’entreprise de programmation de radio commerciale de langue française CFTX-FM Gatineau et son émetteur CFTX-FM-1 Gatineau (secteur Buckingham), qui expire le 31 août 2011.

Il appert également au Conseil que la titulaire pourrait avoir omis de se conformer à l’article 15 du Règlement concernant les contributions au titre du développement du contenu canadien (DCC) pour les années de radiodiffusion 2007-2008, 2008-2009 et 2009-2010.

The Commission received a complaint by the Association québécoise de l’industrie du disque, du spectacle et de la vidéo (ADISQ) alleging that CKOI-FM Montréal is in non‑compliance with sections 2.2(5) and 2.2(10) of the Radio Regulations, 1986 (the Regulations) regarding the broadcast of French-language vocal musical selections (FVM). ADISQ also argues that this non-compliance is due to an incorrect use of montages.
