Dear Sirs:

Subject: Part VII Application for relief from TELUS delays in addressing Service disruptions to Customers causing customers to not be able to use their Internet

This letter is in regards to the Part VII application filed by Computer Access Centre (CAC) on 18 October 2010, concerning service disruptions to CAC customers, preventing them to access CAC Internet dial-up service.

Commission staff notes that in response to your application, TELUS Communications Company (TELUS) submitted that it was working with Shaw Communications Inc and CAC to resolve the network problems that were thought to be causing the service disruptions.

Based on information provided to date by CAC and TELUS in this proceeding, Commission staff considers that the issue raised could resolved through a Commission staff assisted mediation.

Commission staff will be in touch with the parties shortly.  Pending the outcome of the mediation process, CAC’s Part VII application is suspended.

Sincerely,
