Re: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2010-43
The Commission is in receipt of a letter dated 9 December 2010 from the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC), on behalf of the Consumer Groups, requesting that the period for filing intervenors cost claims be extended by one week to 20 December 2010. PIAC submitted that this extension would permit intervenors to carefully prepare fair claims.
In the circumstances, the requested extension is appropriate. Accordingly, intervenors may file cost claims with respect to their participation in the Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2010-43 proceeding (the proceeding) by no later than 20 December 2010, serving a copy on all parties to the proceeding. Regulated companies that are served with a cost claim may file an answer with the Commission by no later than 7 January 2011, serving a copy on the relevant cost claimant. Cost applicants may file a reply by no later than 17 January 2011, serving a copy on the regulated company that provided an answer.
The above materials must be received, not merely sent, in accordance with the above-established timelines
