Re: TELUS Tariff Notices 393 and 4339

The Commission received applications by TELUS Communications Company (TELUS or the company), dated 18 August 2010, in which the company proposed revisions to the former TELUS Communications Inc. General Tariff Item 300 – Call Management Services and the former TELUS Communications (B.C) Inc. General Tariff Item 2234 – Internet Call Director in order to withdraw Internet Call Director service (ICD), effective 1 December 2010.

By letter, dated 1 November 2010, Commission staff informed TELUS that, due to additional comments, the proceeding closed on 22 October 2010 rather than on 7 October 2010.

Accordingly, the Commission will be unable to dispose of the company’s application within 45 business days from the date of filing.

Due to the extension of the comment period, the Commission expects to render its decision on the company’s application by the end of January 2011.

Yours sincerely,
