Re: Follow-up to Telecom Decision CRTC 2005-61 – Customer notification requirements for local VoIP service providers with respect to 9-1-1 emergency services
In a letter dated 8 September 2010, Commission staff advised Prodosec Inc. (Prodosec) to modify the company’s proposed customer notification texts in order to ensure that they were in compliance with Follow-up to Emergency services obligations for local VoIP service providers, Decision 2005-21 – Customer notification requirements, Telecom Decision CRTC 2005-61, 20 October 2005 (Telecom Decision 2005-61). On 4 November 2010, in response to the above-noted letter, Prodosec filed revisions to its proposed customer notification texts.
This is to advise that Commission staff has reviewed Prodosec’s proposed customer notification texts and considers that they are in compliance with the Commission’s determinations in Telecom Decision 2005-61.
