Re: Proceeding initiated by Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-432, Call for comments – Review of the large incumbent local exchange carriers' support structure service rates
Commission staff issued a letter dated 16 August 2010 to address two specific items.
With regards to the first item, Commission staff decided to place on the record of this proceeding, the letter dated 5 August 2010, by Bragg Communications Inc., the Canadian Cable Systems Alliance, Cogeco Cable Inc., Rogers Communications Inc., Shaw Communications Inc. and Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of its affiliate Vidéotron and the letter dated 6 August 2010, by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership, Bell Canada and Télébec Société en commandite. Commission staff also made the 6 August 2010 the close of record date.
With regards to the second item, Commission staff indicated that it considered the application to be a Type 2 matter.
Please disregard the second item related to the application being a Type 2 matter as the Commission issued Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-432 to address the review of support structure rates and in which the Commission indicated that it expected to publish a decision within 120 days of the close of record.
