Re: Part VII application by MTS Allstream Inc. seeking competitor quality of service rebates from Bell Canada and TELUS Communications Company
By letter dated 8 June 2010, Commission staff suspended disposition of the above Part VII application by MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream) pending disposition of the Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada (collectively, the Bell companies) Part VII application requesting, among other things, that the Commission review and vary Telecom Decision 2009-514 and stay certain aspects of the same decision.
In light of Telecom Decision 2010-501, 22 July 2010 disposing of the Bell companies’ Part VII application, Commission staff is reopening the process for the Part VII application filed by MTS Allstream seeking competitor quality of service rebates from Bell Canada and TELUS Communications Company.
Accordingly, the Respondents may file their comments in response to the MTS Allstream application, and serve a copy on MTS Allstream, by 23 August 2010, and MTS Allstream may file its reply, and serve a copy on each Respondent, by 2 September 2010.
Documents to be filed and served in accordance with the above process are to be received, not merely sent, by the date indicated. Copies of the documents should also be sent to the following email address: kim.wardle@crtc.gc.ca.
