Dear Mr. Donato:

Re: Follow-up to Telecom Decision CRTC 2005-61 – Customer notification requirements for local VoIP service providers with respect to 9-1-1 emergency service

Pursuant to  Follow-up to Emergency services obligations for local VoIP service providers, Decision 2005-21 – Customer notification requirements, Telecom Decision CRTC 2005-61, 20 October 2005 (Decision 2005-61), local VoIP service providers are required to submit to the Commission their proposed customer notification texts, prior to their use for Commission review.  The proposed texts must adhere to Emergency Services Working Group Consensus Report ESRE039D – Customer Notification Issues re: 9-1-1 Calls on VoIP, 21 July 2005, (the Report).

By letter dated 28 May 2010, Internet Access Solutions Ltd. (IASL) filed its proposed customer notification materials with respect to its local VoIP 9-1-1 emergency service.

This is to advise that Commission staff has reviewed IASL’s proposed customer notification materials as noted above and Commission staff is of the view that IASL is in compliance with the Commission’s determinations in Decision 2005-61 and the Report.

Yours sincerely,
