RE: Tariff Notice 538 – Cost study

Dear Ms. Duguay:

In response to your Tariff Notice 538, filed on 30 April 2010, Commission staff is submitting an interrogatory regarding the cost study associated with the notice in order to better analyze the costs submitted in that study.  TELUS Communications Company must submit its response to the attached interrogatory by 19 May 2010.  The document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by the above date.

i)   Maintenance
ii)  Service provisioning
iii) Advertising and sales management

a) Methodology
b) Cost driver
c) Associated quantities (units or estimated time required to execute an activity) d) Associated unit costs, such as unit labour cost, operating expense cost factor or unit cost and specific prospective costs for causal cost estimation.
