Dear Mr. Henry and Mr. Palmer:

Re: Bell Aliant Tariff Notices 302 / 303 / 304 and Bell Canada Tariff Notices 7237 / 7238 / 7239

On 19 February 2010, the Commission received applications by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada, (collectively, the Bell companies) under cover of Bell Aliant Tariff Notices (TNs) 302 / 303 / 304 and Bell Canada TNs 7237 / 7238 / 7239. In these TNs, the Bell companies proposed to increase the monthly rates for their Gateway Access Services – Residence and Business, and their Business High Speed Access Services.

Commission staff notes that the Bell companies have not submitted revised cost studies to support the proposed revised rates for these existing services. In the circumstances, the applications are being returned and the Bell companies may re-file them, supported by revised cost studies.

Yours sincerely,
