Re:  Follow-up to Use of deferral accounts to improve access to telecommunications services for persons with disabilities and to expand broadband services to rural and remote communities, Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-1 (Telecom Decision 2008-1)

The Commission is in receipt of correspondence from Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada (the Bell companies), dated 27 April 2010, regarding responses to interrogatories that were due to be submitted to the Commission on 27 April 2010.  The Bell companies have indicated that they require a delay until 14 May 2010 to respond to these interrogatories.  The proposal of the Bell companies is acceptable. 

In light of this, it will not be possible for the parties to fully comment upon the Bell companies’ deferral account proposals until after the Bell companies submit their responses to the interrogatories.

Accordingly, the schedule for the remaining submissions with respect to the deferral account follow-up process is modified as follows:

Submissions and comments are to be filed with the Commission, serving copies on all other parties to the proceeding, including parties listed in the attached distribution list. Submissions must be received, not merely sent, by the dates noted above.
