Re: Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership Tariff Notice 305, Bell Canada Tariff Notices 7240 and 7242, and MTS Allstream Inc. Tariff Notice 687


The Commission is in receipt of correspondence from MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream), dated 13 April 2010, regarding the above noted tariff notices. MTS Allstream has requested that the current date for parties to comment on these tariff notices (15 April 2010) and the date for the applicants to reply to those comments (30 April 2010) be aligned with the dates set out for parties to comment on all other aspects of the deferral account proposals as follow- up to Use of deferral accounts to improve access to telecommunications services for persons with disabilities and to expand broadband services to rural and remote communities, Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-1. The date set out for comments regarding this follow-up process is 30 April 2010 and the date set out for reply is 7 May 2010.

The proposal of MTS Allstream is acceptable. Accordingly, with respect to the above noted tariff notices, interested parties may file comments with the Commission as part of their comments regarding all other aspects of the deferral account proposals, serving copies on all other parties, by 30 April 2010. Reply comments may be filed with the Commission, serving copies on all other parties, by 7 May 2010.
