Re: Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership Tariff Notice 305, Bell Canada Tariff Notices 7240 and 7242, and MTS Allstream Inc. Tariff Notice 687
The Commission is in receipt of an application from Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership under cover of Tariff Notice 305 (TN 305), and applications from Bell Canada under cover of Tariff Notices 7240 and 7242 (TNs 7240 and 7242).
In light of the related nature of the above-noted applications to the follow-up to Use of deferral accounts to improve access to telecommunications services for persons with disabilities and to expand broadband services to rural and remote communities, Telecom Decision CRTC 2008-1, the Commission will be unable to dispose of the Tariff Notice applications within 45 business days of their receipt. The Commission is continuing its analysis of Tariff Notices 305, 7240 and 7242. It is expected that the Commission will render a decision with respect to these Tariff Notices concurrent with its determination with respect to the above noted proceeding.
With respect to TNs 305, 7240, and 7242, as well as MTS Allstream Inc. Tariff Notice 687, interested parties may file comments with the Commission, serving copies on all other parties, by 15 April 2010. Reply comments may be filed with the Commission, serving copies on all other parties, by 26 April 2010.
