RE: Provincial Tel’s request to consolidate two local interconnection regions in Manitoba
Commission staff considers that additional information is necessary for the Commission to make a determination regarding the above-noted application.
As such, MTS Allstream Inc. is to submit responses to the enclosed interrogatories (see Appendix 1) with the Commission no later than 1 March 2010.
Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.

Appendix 1
Interrogatories for MTS Allstream
1. Provide an estimate of what it would cost, both in terms of one-time costs and on-going costs, for MTS Allstream to consolidate the Brandon and Melita LIRs into one LIR.
2. For 2009, provide:
a. The total amount of incoming voice traffic to MTS Allstream’s network received from Provincial Tel.
b. The total amount of incoming data traffic to MTS Allstream’s network received from Provincial Tel.
