CKMI-TV-1 Montréal – Licence amendment – Correction

1.      The Commission hereby corrects paragraphs 2 and 5 of the French-language version of CKMI-TV-1 Montréal – Licence amendment, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2010-776, 20 October 2010.

2.      In paragraph 2, the Commission provided an incorrect average effective radiated power for the transmitter. Paragraph 2 shall now read as follows (the change is in bold) :

2.         Le nouvel émetteur sera exploité au canal 15 avec une puissance apparente rayonnée (PAR) moyenne de 8 000 watts (PAR maximale de 8 000 watts avec une hauteur effective d’antenne au-dessus du sol moyen de 298 mètres). Le Conseil note que CKMI-DT-1 serait exploité sur un canal différent de celle alloué dans le Plan d'allotissement pour la TVN du ministère de l’Industrie (le Ministère).

3.      Also, the final sentence of paragraph 5 was omitted. That paragraph shall now read as follows (the change is in bold) :

5.         L’émetteur doit être en exploitation le plus tôt possible et, quoi qu’il en soit, au plus tard le 31 août 2011. Le Conseil s’attend à ce que la titulaire l’informe par écrit de la mise en exploitation de cet émetteur.
