RE:  Part VII Application – PIC/CARE access customer handbook

On 17 November 2009, the Commission received an application submitted by Managed Network Systems Inc. (MNSi) for approval of its Primary Interexchange Carrier/Customer Account Record Exchange Access Customer Handbook (PIC/CARE access customer handbook).

On 26 November 2009, the Commission received a request from MNSi to withdraw its application. MNSi indicated that the PIC/CARE access customer handbook was not necessary at this time, since it has not received any requests for interconnection from an Interexchange Carrier (IXC).

Commission staff notes that should MNSi receive a request for interconnection from an IXC, it will have the obligation, pursuant to Local Competition, Telecom Decision CRTC 97-8, 1st May 1997, to file a PIC/CARE access customer handbook for the Commission’s approval.

MNSi’s request to withdraw its application is accepted.

Yours sincerely,
