Re: Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2008-9 - Call for comments on TELUS Communications Company’s proposed relief from requirements for the expansion of local calling area regulatory framework – Interrogatories – Request of extension

The Commission received letters form TELUS Communications Company (TCC) and MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream) requesting that the Commission extend the deadline for responding to the interrogatories submitted pursuant to the above-noted proceeding until 1 December 2009. TCC and MTS Allstream indicated that they require additional time to gather the information needed to respond the interrogatories.

The requests to extend the filing deadline are considered reasonable. Accordingly, the deadline to file responses to the interrogatories is extended until 1 December 2009.

Yours sincerely,

John Macri

Director, Policy
