Re: Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-261, Proceeding to consider the appropriateness of mandating certain wholesale high-speed access services
The Commission is in receipt of a letter from Bragg Communications Inc., Cogeco Cable Inc., Rogers Communications Inc., Shaw Communications Inc. and Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of its affiliate Videotron Ltd. (collectively, the Cable Carriers) seeking, among other things, an extension of the 9 October 2009 date for filing responses to the directives contained in the Commission staff letter dated 2 October 2009, regarding disclosure and further responses to interrogatories (the Disclosure Letter). The Cable Carriers submitted that a number of interrogatories on which they had been directed to file further responses required significant collection of information.
To the extent that parties have not already done so, further responses and disclosure of information for which confidentiality was claimed with respect to the interrogatories identified in the Disclosure Letter, except for those interrogatories subject to Commission rulings, are to be filed with the Commission, and served on all interested parties, by no later than 16 October 2009.
Parties may file second submissions with the Commission by no later than 26 October 2009.
The above material must be received, not merely sent, by the above date.
The schedule for the balance of the process will be provided in the very near future.
Yours sincerely,
