RE: Tariff Notice 400 – Primary exchange services monthly rats and other charges
On 6 October 2009, the Commission received the above-mentioned tariff notice submitted by Télébec, Limited Partnership. The company indicated that its application was filed as a Group A filing under Approval mechanisms for retail and CLEC tariffs, Telecom Decision 2008-74, 21 August 2008 (Decision 2008-74).
Commission staff considers that the application does not meet the definition of Group A filings as indicated in Appendix 1 of Decision 2008-74, since it proposes changes to the terms and conditions of a tariff.
For purposes of efficiency, the Commission will process this application as a Group B filing rather than close the file and require the company to refile it as a new application. Accordingly, the application will receive interim approval on the 15th calendar day after it was received, on 21 October 2009, unless the Commission issues a letter indicating otherwise prior to the date. The company is to file forthwith revised tariff pages with an effective date no earlier than 21 October 2009. The company is not to implement these tariff revisions until that date.
