Dear Mr. Lew:

RE: Bell Aliant Tariff Notice 253 and Bell Canada Tariff Notice 7191

On 30 September 2009, the Commission received additional comments from the Neil Squire Society in regards to reply comments filed by Bell Aliant Regional Communications and Bell Canada (the companies) relating to the above-noted tariff applications.

Commission staff notes that in its 10 September 2009 letter to the companies, it has not provided a right of reply to Neil Squire Society. Commission staff further notes that Neil Squire Society has already filed comments in these proceedings on 27 July 2009.
The record of the proceedings for the above tariff notices has therefore been closed as of 18 September 2009. Consequently, your comment dated 30 September 2009 on these tariff notices will not be placed on the record of these proceedings and will not be considered by the Commission.

Yours sincerely,
