Dear Madams, Sirs:

Re:  Process letter with respect to TekSavvy’s review and vary and stay applications regarding Telecom Order 2009-484

In Telecom Order CRTC 2009-484, 12 August 2009 (Telecom Order 2009-484), the Commission approved on an interim basis the Bell companies’ proposed two new GAS speed options and rates, their proposal to introduce usage-based billing (UBB) for residential GAS, effective 90 days from the date of the order, and their proposal to introduce an excessive usage charge for GAS, effective the date the Bell companies notify the Commission that they apply an excessive usage charge to all their retail customers on UBB plans.

In two applications to the Commission dated 11 September 2009, TekSavvy Solutions Inc. (TSI) requested, for the reasons set out in those applications, that the Commission:  (1) review and vary its determinations in Telecom Order 2009-484 by amending paragraphs 18 and 21 of that Order so as to rescind interim approval of UBB and the excessive usage charge for GAS; and (2) stay the interim approvals granted in those paragraphs of that Order, pending a Commission determination of TSI’s review and vary application. TSI further requested that its applications be addressed on an expedited basis.

Parties may file comments on TSI’s two applications with the Commission, serving a copy on TSI, by 25 September 2009. TSI may file comments in reply with the Commission, serving a copy on parties, by 1st October 2009.

When a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must actually be received, not sent, by that date.

Yours truly,
