Re: Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2008-19, Review of the Internet traffic management practices of Internet Service Providers (PN 2008-19) – Costs response extension request
The Commission is in receipt of a letter from Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada (Bell) dated 11 September 2009 requesting that the deadline for responding to costs applications in the proceeding initiated by PN 2008-19 be extended to 25 September 2009. Telus Communications Company, in a letter dated the same day, has indicated its support for Bell 's request.
Commission staff notes that the Commission has received several applications for costs in the above mentioned proceeding. In light of the amounts being claimed in these costs applications, Commission staff considers it appropriate to grant Bell 's request for an extension.
Potential costs respondents may file their answer to the costs applications, serving copies on the costs applicants, by 25 September 2009. Costs applicants may file their replies, serving copies on the costs respondents, by 5 October 2009.
Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, not merely sent, by that date.
