Dear Sayed Z. Islam:

Re:    Telecom Notice of Consultation 2009-429 - Request to appear at the oral hearing commencing on 23 September 2009 (Globalive)

Further to your letter dated 4 September 2009, this is to advise you that the Commission has denied your request to appear at the 23 September 2009 oral hearing.

In Telecom Notice of Consultation 2009-429, the Commission provided that interested parties could submit written comments by 21 August 2009.

The Commission clearly indicated at paragraph 7 of Telecom Notice of Consultation 2009-429 that only parties that filed written comments could request to appear at the oral phase of the hearing.

The Commission notes that Alpina Holdings Inc. did not file any written comments in this proceeding.

Given the above, your request to appear is denied.

Yours sincerely,
