Re: Part VII Application to Review and Vary Part of Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2009- 424, Revised regulatory requirements for management of customer accounts
This is further to the submission dated 21 August 2009 made by FIDO Solutions Inc. (“FIDO”) regarding Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2009-424.
FIDO is seeking identical relief as that sought by Bragg Communications Inc., Cogeco Cable Inc., Rogers Communications Inc., Shaw Communications Inc., and Quebecor Media Inc., on behalf of its affiliate Videotron Ltd. (“collectively the “cable carriers”) in their 11 August 2009 application to review and vary part of Telecom Regulatory Policy CRTC 2009-424. Indeed, in its 21 August 2009 submission, FIDO adopted and incorporated by reference all of the arguments submitted by the cable carriers in their application.
In light of the foregoing, Commission staff considers that it would be appropriate to treat FIDO’s 21 August 2009 submission as a comment filed in response to the cable carriers’ application. FIDO retains the right to file additional comments in response to the cable carriers’ application by 10 September 2009, the deadline applicable to parties for filing comments.
