Dear Mr. Deane,

Re: Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel) - Application for forbearance from the regulation of residential local exchange services in the Melville and Yorkton, Saskatchewan

The Commission is in receipt of a letter from Access Communications co-operative limited (Access), dated 5 August 2009, stating that it provides coverage in areas containing approximately 74.4% of the population of the exchange of Melville, based on the 2006 census information.

However, in order to make a determination, the Commission requires the number of residential network access lines (NAS), or the total number of households that the competitor is capable of serving in the exchange.

Therefore, in order to complete the record in the above-mentioned application, Access is to file, by 25 August 2009, the estimated number of residential NAS, or the estimated number of households, that it is capable of serving in the exchange of Melville.

Where a document is to be filed by a specific date, the document must be received, and not merely sent, by that date.

Yours sincerely,
