Dear Sir,
Re: Proceeding to consider the compliance of Globalive with the ownership and control regime, Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-429
In Proceeding to consider the compliance of Globalive with the ownership and control regime , Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-429 (the NC 2009-429 proceeding), the Commission initiated a Type-4 review of the ownership and control of Globalive Wireless Management Corporation (Globalive).
The Commission intends to issue interrogatories to Globalive on 4 August 2009 .
Responses to those interrogatories are to be filed with the Commission and served on all those who filed a notice of intention to participate pursuant to Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2009-429, by 14 August 2009 , along with any claim for confidentiality and any abridged version of the interrogatory responses.
Globalive is reminded that any material submitted to the Commission will form part of the public record, subject to any claim made by Globalive pursuant to section 39 of the Telecommunications Act . Consistent with the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure , any claim of confidentiality with regard to Globalive's interrogatory responses is to be accompanied by reasons in support of the claim, including a detailed explanation of the nature and extent of the specific direct harm that disclosure would entail. Globalive should file as much as possible for the public record. If a confidentiality claim is made, Globalive is
to file an abridged version, abridging as little as possible, to be placed on the public record or its reasons for objecting to the filing of an abridged version thereof.
Yours truly,
