Dear Mr. Brazeau,

Re: Part VII applications for forbearance from the regulation of residential and business local exchange services in Thunder Bay, Ontario

On 23 July 2009, the Commission received reply comments from TBayTel on the above-mentioned Part VII applications by TBayTel.

In order for the Commission to assess TBayTel's above-mentioned applications, Shaw Telecom G.P. (Shaw) is to provide responses to the following questions by 29 July 2009. In its response, Shaw may also address TBayTel's submission of 23 July 2009. TBayTel may file final reply comments by 31 July 2009 :

  1. Please submit the number of business local exchange service lines that Shaw is capable of serving, as of the date of this letter, within the boundaries of TBayTel's exchange as identified by either the map or the Forward Sortation Areas (FSA) submitted by TBayTel. If this number represents less than 50 percent or more than 75 percent of the total number of business local exchange service lines that TBayTel is capable of serving, Shaw may submit that number in confidence;

  2. Please submit, in confidence, the actual number of business local exchange service lines that Shaw is serving as of the date of this letter.

Where a document is to be filed by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.

Yours sincerely,
