Dear Mr. Martin:

Re: Request for extension on competitor deadline with regard to Bell Canada Part VII Application Seeking Forbearance of Bell Canada's High-Speed Intra-Exchange Digital Network Access Services Pursuant to Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-35

On 26 June 2009, Bell Canada filed a Part VII Application seeking forbearance of Bell Canada 's high-speed intra-exchange digital network access (high-speed DNA) pursuant to Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-35 in 35 wire centres in Ontario and Quebec.

Pursuant to Bell Canada's application, competitors listed in Bell Canada's application were to file in confidence with the Commission, by 27 July 2009, a list of all buildings connected to their network at speeds of DS-3 or greater that are located in Bell Canada's operating territory in Ontario and Quebec in the 35 wire centres identified by Bell Canada in its application.

On 23 July 2009, MTS Allstream filed a letter with the Commission requesting that the deadline to provide competitor high-speed DNA capable presence for each of the thirty-five wire centres identified by Bell Canada in its application be extended to 4 August 2009.

The Commission hereby approves MTS Allstream's request and extends to 4 August 2009 the deadline for all competitors to provide the data required.

Sincerely,
